Within Reach: Transitioning from career to retirement
Get ready for a new journey! Getting to this point is quite a feat. But the journey isn't over. There are many more adventures yet to come. Once you reach retirement, you may have 20 or 30 years to enjoy it.

TIAA CREF's workshop leader will help you imagine your ideal retirement and plan - financially and emotionally - for how to make the most of it:
  • Plan how you'll spend your days and how to help make your savings last
  • Learn about how you can pay yourself once you're no longer earning a paycheck
Refreshments will be served. All University faculty and staff are invited to attend. Enroll now.

Second City - Developing Trust and Collaboration
The Chicago-based improv group is back - this time to help OU employees use the fundamentals of improv to build trusting relationships inside and outside of the workplace. Enroll now.

Strategies for Communicating with Tact and Diplomacy
Communicating with diplomacy and tact requires strategy, awareness, and skills. Its aim is to establish trust and rapport in relationships while delivering messages effectively. However, it's often pushed aside by good intentions cloaked by gut reaction and misinterpretation.

This course provides techniques you can use to navigate through conversations in a way that shows sensitivity and respect for others. As well as exploring what you should say, the course shows you how you can use proper timing and delivery when conveying your message. This will enable you to deliver messages tactfully and diplomatically, without sacrificing your reputation or professional relationships.

Do you know where that USB drive has BEEN?
You're walking through the Oakland Center, and you find a small USB flash drive on the window sill.  What do you do? We know that you want to help find the owner, but PLEASE do not plug random USB flash drives into OU computers! Turn them into lost and found. Cyber criminals have been planting infected flash drives around campus, hoping a good Samaritan like you will plug it in and become another of their victims.
