Budget Journal Vouchers (JVs) Moving to Banner in February 2015
Starting February 2015, Budget & Financial Planning will be moving the entry and approval of budget JVs to Banner, at which time the pink paper forms will be phased out. Budget & Financial Planning will be conducting training sessions in January 2015; all budget JV initiators and approvers should plan to attend one of the sessions.
Attendees should submit one of the following forms depending on his/her role (either an initiator of budget JVs or an approver of budget JVs) at least a week prior to attending a training session. Please email completed forms to email@example.com and cc firstname.lastname@example.org. Please email the completed forms as soon as possible so all initiators and approvers can be granted access before the training sessions begin. Initiators and approvers who were part of the pilot group and already have access do not need to resubmit these forms prior to attending training.
Please visit this link to reserve a seat at one of the training sessions.
Banner Training for New Users
One-on-one training is available to help orient new users to the Banner interface. Please fill out the Banner Training Request form
with as much detail as possible, and one of our trainers will contact you soon to set up a training session.
|Success Over Stress|
"Stress is the psychological, physiological and behavioral response by an individual when they perceive a lack of equilibrium between the demands placed upon them and their ability to meet those demands, which, over a period of time, leads to ill-health." Stephen Palmer, "Occupational Stress".
Contrary to popular belief, stress itself is never a good thing--it is always harmful. This course will show you the difference between pressure, which spurs you into action and helps you to perform at your peak, and stress, which impedes your performance, and has long-term health implications. Stress is produced by your own feelings and reactions to certain external events, rather than by the events themselves. This means that once you recognize how you respond to certain situations, you can change your response to one that is more helpful and productive.

Try creating an anagram from a sentence, and using symbols and numbers to make it more complicated.
For example, the sentence "One time in class I ate some glue" could become 1TiC!AsG.
Create the strongest passwords for the sites that contain the most sensitive information and do not reuse them anywhere.
