CLIENT COMPANY SPOTLIGHT
INTERNATIONAL LANDING ZONE WELCOMES NEW CLIENTS, INCLUDING NFC GROUP - NORTH AMERICA

An official celebration of the International Landing Zone's inaugural businesses was the focus of April's Government Defense Infrastructure (GDI) Luncheon, coordinated by taktik(z) and held at the Velocity Center. The Michigan Defense Center, along with partner organizations, the Macomb-OU INCubator and Macomb County's Department of Planning & Economic Development, brought recently-landed companies to the stage to describe their businesses. We're pleased to officially welcome Vigurus, CoorsTek, and NFC Group – North America (NFC Group-NA)!

"We are so excited to partner with the International Landing Zone to develop our presence in North America and further leverage the success we've found in Europe, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East with the Orion Network. With the support of the ILZ, we hope to provide solutions to the military defense, homeland security and corporate marketplace," John McClure, NFC Group-NA Managing Director, said.

LINKED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: A NEW RESOURCE FOR TALENT ACQUISITION

The Macomb-OU INCubator team recognizes the importance of talent acquisition for growing startup companies. They have recently strengthened relationships with Oakland University's Career Services, resulting in client participation at career fairs, as well as strengthening relationships with Oakland University's graphic design major/minor program, resulting in connecting client companies with students for graphics support. Most recently, Mac-OU INC leadership brought on Linked Professional Services, a staffing solutions company, as an on-site company. This new relationship will translate to more options for clients who are seeking professional talent.
